What are HorseStarzz?HorseStarzz are cut-outs made from digital photographs that will adhere to a wall or any flat surface. HorseStarzz come in two standard sizes: 2’ or 4’, but custom orders are also accepted. What is a HorseStarzz made of?HorseStarzz are printed on a unique vinyl photographic paper that is laminated to make it strong enough to resist liquids and tears, yet light enough to adhere to a flat surface like a wall without any adhesives. Unlike a sticker, a HorseStarzz can be removed without harming the graphic or the wall's finish. How are HorseStarzz different from competing products?HorseStarzz are created in a professional photo lab, which has been printing digital photographs for over a decade.How do I put a HorseStarzz on the wall?When you receive your HorseStarzz, unroll it and allow it to lay flat. Make sure the wall is big enough to hang your HorseStarzz. Wipe down the wall with a wet washcloth and allow the surface to dry completely. Carefully remove the backing paper. Then, starting at the top, gently touch the HorseStarzz to the surface with your fingertips. Make sure the HorseStarzz is hanging straight, then gently push any folds or air pockets from the center toward the outside edges using a squeegy or soft towel. Will a HorseStarzz damage my wall?HorseStarzz won’t damage any walls as long as they are clean, smooth and dry. You should pay particular attention to walls covered in wall paper. Some coatings applied to wallpaper can decrease stickiness and tear the HorseStarzz. Older wallpaper that no longer properly adheres to the wall can also be damaged, so please be careful. How do I move a HorseStarzz from one wall to another?Prepare the next surface as you did before. The area must be smooth, clean and large enough to hang your HorseStarzz. Slowly and gently pull the HorseStarzz away from the wall, then hang it on the new surface.How do I store a HorseStarzz?Lay out the backing paper or sheets of wax paper on a flat surface large enough to accommodate the HorseStarzz. Gently pull the HorseStarzz away from the wall, then lay it image face-up on the paper. Make sure that there are no folds or creases in the vinyl. Flip the HorseStarzz over and loosely roll it up with the image facing outward. Put it in the original cardboard shipping tube to protect your HorseStarzz while in storage.What size image file do you need?The final quality of your HorseStarzz absolutely depends on the quality of image file you send to us. Start by making sure you use at least a 3.5 megapixel camera set to "highest" or "fine" quality. If the image you send us is over 1,000Kb (1Mb) in size and you do not change, crop or resize the original file from the camera, you'll be fine. Any tips for making a good HorseStarzz?A full-body shot against a high-contrast background makes the best final graphic. Fill the entire frame with the subject, taking care not to crop the subject’s head, tail or feet. For photos of galloping horses, all four feet off the ground is the IDEAL posture. Why is contrast between the subject and the background important?HorseStarzzs are trimmed around the subject, therefore, an image that started out with a light colored background looks best on a light-colored wall and conversely, a light subject against a dark background works best on a dark colored wall. How important are the cropping instructions sent with your photo?Extremely important. We want every customer to be pleased with his or her HorseStarzz, so please be as specific as possible when uploading your photo. Since horses are often photographed in grass or dirt, we will need to know exactly how much of the background you want included. Completely removing the background can result in a horse that looks club-footed or awkward. My HorseStarzz doesn't stay up. What went wrong?A HorseStarzz will only stay up on a clean, flat wall. If your HorseStarzz starts to peel away from the wall, you should remove it, clean the wall with a damp cloth, and try to hang it again. How long does it take to ship a HorseStarzz?This depends on order volume. All products will be shipped by UPS and should arrive in 2-4 weeks. You will be e-mailed a UPS tracking number once your order has been processed. Overnight shipping is available upon request. Please note this when placing your order. How do I track my order?If you haven't received your HorseStarzz within four weeks, send us an e-mail and we'll track it down for you. Will you ship to a P.O. Box?Unfortunately we cannot ship to a P.O. Box at this time. Will you ship outside the United States?Currently we are shipping anywhere in the U.S. or Canada only. What kind of warranty do you have?We warranty the HorseStarzz to be delivered to you free of defects in workmanship. Every HorseStarzz is hand-inspected and professionally packaged before it leaves the lab. If the HorseStarzz packaging is crushed, refuse the package, notify us within 48 hours, and another will be shipped immediately. (Note – the images are deleted after 48 hours). If the HorseStarzz is damaged inside the package and you opened it, notify us within 48 hours, ship it back to us postage-paid via UPS or US-Mail, and we'll send out another one ASAP. Do you have a money-back guarantee?Yes. If we cannot make a good print from the photo you upload, we'll send you an e-mail describing the problem and delete the image and your order information. We will not bill your credit card.
